Information we collect
- Name, phone number, and email address for registration and follow-up communication.
- Age and parent/guardian contact information for candidates under 18.
- Home church affiliation, T-shirt size, accessibility needs, transportation needs, and how you heard about the event.
- Digital waiver signatures and check-in timestamps.
- For churches: church name, pastor and primary contact details, estimated candidate and volunteer counts, and sponsorship interest.
How we use your information
- To register you or your church for the event and coordinate logistics.
- To send event reminders, check-in QR codes, and follow-up invitations via email and text.
- To connect candidates without a church home to a participating church.
- To provide real-time dashboards to partner churches and the planning committee.
- To meet legal or safety obligations, such as medical or accessibility accommodations.
Who can see your data
Candidates' personal information is visible only to the candidate, their assigned church's authorized portal users, and the Baptize Baltimore planning committee. We do not sell personal information. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may be shared publicly.
Data retention
We keep registration data for up to two years after the event to support follow-up and reporting, then securely delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@baptizebaltimore.org.
Your choices
You can update your registration details through your confirmation email or by contacting us. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
