The Weekend at a Glance
Three days. One city.
Come for one night or all three. Every part of the weekend is free and open to everyone.
Friday · May 14
Worship & Prayer Night
We open the weekend together — one room, many congregations, lifting up the name of Jesus over Baltimore.
Saturday · May 15
Serve & Share
Community service in the morning: cleanups, food distribution, and neighborhood care. Citywide evangelism in the afternoon, block by block.
Sunday · May 16
Baptize Baltimore Celebration
The big one. Worship, a gospel message, public baptism at the water, testimonies, food, games, and a bounce house for the kids. 1–5 PM.
Flagship dayOur vision
This isn't one church's event.
Baptize Baltimore belongs to the whole city. Mount Zion Baptist Church convenes it, but no single congregation owns it. Every partner church leads a piece, sends its people, and welcomes home the new believers who come out of the water.
We believe Baltimore has been prayed over for generations. This weekend is what happens when those prayers get in the same room — pastors sharing a stage, choirs sharing a song, neighbors sharing a meal.
If your church loves this city, there's a place for you here.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 28:19
Baptism is going public. It's saying out loud, in front of your city, that your life belongs to Jesus now. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to say yes.

Register to Be Baptized
For anyone ready to take this step — or still deciding and wanting to talk to someone first. Tell us a few things so we can have your shirt, your church connection, and your spot at the water ready. Under 18? A parent or guardian signs with you.

One form, once. Tell us who you are, roughly how many candidates and volunteers you expect, and which ministry teams you'd like to lead or support. We'll send your partner toolkit and keep you in the loop.
